Meet Dr. John Sanguedolce
Dr. Sanguedolce has always harbored a deep-rooted aspiration to serve as a family physician in Orange County. He is a firm believer in the importance of understanding every facet of his patients’ lives, advocating that thorough and routine follow-ups are pivotal in illness prevention. One of the most rewarding aspects of his practice, he finds, is educating patients, as it forms the cornerstone of effective healthcare.
Dr. Sanguedolce’s educational journey began at El Dorado High School, where he distinguished himself on the varsity basketball team. He then pursued his undergraduate studies at Loyola Marymount University, which paved the way to St. George’s University for his medical degree. His clinical prowess was further honed at NYU, where he underwent extensive clinical training.
A pivotal chapter in his career was his tenure as Chief Resident at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital in the Hamptons, New York. His leadership and dedication were particularly evident during the Covid-19 pandemic when he led the emergency room. His exceptional service during this challenging time earned him the prestigious accolade of Southampton Hospital Resident of the Year.
Outside the medical arena, Dr. Sanguedolce is passionate about a range of activities. He is an avid sport fisherman, surfer, and snowboarder, and enjoys playing basketball. His leisure time is often spent in the company of friends and family, cherishing the moments that enrich life beyond his professional commitments.
